The amount of precipitation that falls at Schuchart Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most, and       the driest month of the year is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Very glorious water scenery is available at Schuchart Lake Dam close to Schuchart Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, San Geronimo Creek offers some good whitewater.
