Schrieber Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came for an overnight stay Stonewall Jackson Campground is a good place to camp, and if you're visiting from Wichita Falls, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Spur Hotel is a good       choice, and Schrieber Lake Dam is not far at all from Schrieber Lake.
