After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites JOURDANTON-PLEASANTON is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and needless to say Salt Branch flows through this region. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Scheidt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Bonita Reservoir is next to Scheidt Lake, and Macho Creek Lodge is a good campground nearby. High temperatures at Scheidt Lake all through the summer are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's; night lows through the winter for Scheidt Lake tend to be in the 30's. You're possibly keen on lakes, Bonita Lake is one of those nearby, and Scheidt Dam is a scenic place.
