This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel Kountze is a great choice, and do take a hike on the Dogwood Trail. A good deal of rainfall falls at Sawyers Lakes; May is the wettest month with most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Sawyers Lakes is not the only site close by, East Sawyers Lake is a close by lake, and a trip to Big Thicket National Preserve is recommended.       Why not camp at Triple Creek Recreational Vehicle if you're here at Sawyers Lakes.
