A wonderful lake like North Lake near Sandy Lake is a perfect place to stop by, and Lewisville Mobile Home Park is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Denton Creek is so much fun, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not stop by Underwood Lake. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Carrollton Dam near Sandy Lake, and there       are plenty of folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington here. Sandy Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. Playing golf is lots of fun at Carrollton City of Indian Creek Golf Club. Summer at Sandy Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's, and                  winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Sandy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is splendid here at Sandy Lake, you can go for a hike along the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Trail, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Farmers Branch is a wonderful choice. Why not camp at Sandy Lake RV Park while you're here at Sandy Lake; going for a hike along the L B Houston Park Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This place, Sandy Lake, it completely has so much outdoors exciting stuff.
