Salt Lake is a quite wet place usually with a lot of rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Lakeview Rv & Motel; if you came for an overnight stay Monterey Park Campground is a great site to camp. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Salt Lake while overnight lows are typically in the       70's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows through the winter for Salt Lake tend to be in the 30's. If you get bored of Salt Lake, you could also pop by close by Horseshoe Lake; hiking along the Sawmill Hiking Trail is wonderful fun.
