Round Lake is a nice site to camp, Daingerfield State Park is a nice site. During the months of summer at Round Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; overnight lows through the winter for Round Lake tend to be in the 20's. Round Lake is a rather wet place commonly with a great       deal of precipitation; throughout May this area sees the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dalby Creek flows through this vicinity, and at Round Lake you always meet someone from Mount Pleasant. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Daingerfield State Park Trail is always a good adventure. Lakes are perfect; Black Cat Lake is a lake that's right next door to Round Lake. Daingerfield Motel is a delightful                  place to get some rest, and why not check out Deer Pasture Dam if you're here.
