So many fun things to do here at Roach Lake, too perfect to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Junction, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Moody Lake. Junction is a wonderful choice It's always delightful to go to East Spring. Roach Lake is pretty dried out ordinarily; during May this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. If you came to camp South Llano River State Park is a magnificent place to do that.

Kerr Wildlife Management Area Trail
 | 18 miles away We have had several disappointed visitors show up at the Kerr WMA due to this website. To be clear, the Kerr WMA is a research and demonstration site owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. It is not a state park and we do not have all the amenities of such. There is no overnight camping allowed and hiking is limited to one existing trail and paved roads due to on-going research on native and endangered species. Visitors are welcome to drive the main road and bathrooms are available.... |
