Number 1. Denton Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Leonard L Woods Park Trail. Grapevine Lake is a great lake right next door to Reservoir Number 1, and a great nearby hotel
is Homewood Suites By Hilton Dallas-Grapevine. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Grapevine City Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn And Suites By Marriott Dfw Airport North-Grapevine is a tremendous
spot to spend a night or two. There are other places here than Reservoir Number 1, for example Lake Number 1; paddling on Furneaux Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Walnut Grove Trail, and why not take a little trip to Bakers Branch if you're here.
