If you're here, you might as well pop by Big Sandy Draw, and you can stay the night at Big State Parkring. Refinery Lake is a location that is pretty dried up frequently; during September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the neighborhood of Refinery Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Cosden Lake is right next door to Refinery Lake, and Refinery Lake is       a great spot to visit for more than one day, Suburban East Mobile Park is a great spot to camp nearby. During the summertime months at Refinery Lake highs are mostly in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Refinery Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
