What a nice lake Reeves Lake is. Outpost Motel is a wonderful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wimberley Inn, and Cadell Branch is close to Reeves Lake and is always a diversion to explore. Reeves Lake gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is December.

| | Pedernales Falls State Park Equestrian Trails is a nice hiking trail close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Reeves Lake Dam is not far at all from Reeves Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay River Oaks Riverfront RV Resort is a great location to camp. Glide down the rapids of Pedernales River in a kayak, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Fou Mile Loop.
