Reeves Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Reeves Lake is a good site of normal rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is December. The Fou Mile Loop offers hiking at its best, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Blanco River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Wolf Mountain Trail is great fun; don't forget to take a great little spree to Cadell Branch.

Austin is a delightful location to spend a night or two. You don’t have to go far from Reeves Lake to see the water at Reeves Lake Dam; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Pedernales River.
A tremendous place to
camp here at Reeves Lake is Cottonwood Creek RV Park. Reeves Lake is right by the Pedernales Falls State Park Equestrian Trails; Best Western Johnson City Inn is a wonderful place to get some rest.
