The yearly precipitation here at Reed Lake 2 is about average; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and December meanwhile is the driest month. North Bosque River is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Reed Lake 2; do take a hike on the Meridian       State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Rough Creek Lodge, and Meridian State Park is a splendid campground here. For the duration of the summer highs here at Reed Lake 2 reach the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Reed Lake 2 plunge into the 30's.
