Reed Lake 1 is a nice lake to visit. From a rain point of view Reed Lake 1 is a rather typical place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is December. There's great hiking along the Bosque Trail, and after a long day outdoors Circle Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Reed Lake 1, for example Reed Lake 2, and camping is available at Meridian State

| | Park. There's whitewater on Meridian Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and the Meridian State Park Trail offers hiking at its best.
