From a rain point of view Reed Lake 1 is a rather typical place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is December. There's great hiking along the Bosque Trail, and after a long day outdoors Circle Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Reed Lake 1, for example Reed Lake 2, and camping is available at Meridian State       Park. There's whitewater on Meridian Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and the Meridian State Park Trail offers hiking at its best. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Reed Lake 1. If you came for an overnight stay Oakdale Camp N Fish is a nice place to camp. Summertime highs at Reed Lake 1 typically tend to be in the 90's; the nighttime is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 70's. High temperatures through the                  winter are normally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Reed Lake 1.
