Wagonwheel Mobile Home Park is a good campground nearby; after a long day outdoors Best Western Christopher Inn & Suites is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duck Creek, and going for a hike on the Bob Woodruff Trail is always a good adventure. Get dripping wet paddling on Rowlett Creek, and why not explore Rockwall-Forney Dam while you're here.
