At Ratliff Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Ratliff Lake are in the 30's. There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Ratliff Lake called the Summit Trail, and Honey Spring       is always fun to check out. Stay the night at Llano River Golf and RV Resort; Bullhead Mountain is pretty and can be spotted from here. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to explore along the Loop Trail, and Ratliff Dam is not far at all from Ratliff Lake. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn and Suites Llano is a fine choice, and there's some flowing water nearby, Helms Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Dry warm                  beds await you at Best Western Llano. Ratliff Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May while December is ordinarily the driest month. Just can't get enough of Ratliff Lake. Oxford Ranch Campground is a tremendous campground nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Hickory Creek River offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
