The beauty of Raesz Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Shadowglen Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Brushy Creek. There's whitewater on Colorado River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; do take a hike on the Northern Loop Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hornsby Bend Trail, and you can take a little tour to Raesz

Lake. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Elgin, Tx is a magnificent choice, and Oak Forest RV Park is a splendid campground here. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites; Raesz Lake is a good site
to camp, Austin RV Park North is a good site. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Wildflower Trail is perfect fun.
