Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Pursley Lake. Best Western Willis is a fine place to get some rest; there's some flowing water close by, Boswell Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. There are wonderful locations to explore along the Huntsville State Park Trail, and while you're here, you could also stop at scenic Griffin Lake. Pursley Lake       is not far at all from Huntsville. Do stop by Walker Lake near Pursley Lake, it's a picturesque lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Pursley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thousand Trails. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn and Suites Huntsville; going for a hike on the Green Loop Trail is always a great adventure. Pursley Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Timberlodge RV Park is a fine                  place to camp nearby, and nearby you hit upon the Lone Star Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Through the summer months, highs usually are in the 90's at Pursley Lake; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Pursley Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.
