This lake is so wonderful. A delightful location to camp here at Pursley Lake is Thousand Trails, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Willis is a great choice. Pursley Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. Pursley Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Timberlodge       RV Park is a magnificent local campground, and Pursley Lake is not far at all from Huntsville. Boswell Creek is in the vicinity of Pursley Lake and is always a delight to stop by; Days Inn and Suites Huntsville is a nice place to get some rest. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do near Pursley Lake. While you're here at Pursley Lake you can take a hike along the Lone Star Trail. All through the days of summer, highs typically are in the 90's at Pursley                  Lake. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Pursley Lake fall into the 30's.
