There's so much to do here at Presa Chino that you need to camp here for a while, Downtown Trailer Park is a pleasant location for that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Presa Viruelas. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Presa Chino; Fort Leaton State Historic Site Nature Trail is a good local trail, and not far from Presa Chino you'll stumble on Presa Rincon which is a wonderful lake.
