For the period of the warm days of summer here at Posey Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Posey Lake drop into the 30's. Why not camp       at Rains County RV Park if you're here at Posey Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Canton is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Not far from Posey Lake, you'll hit upon Bog Lake which is a beautiful lake; if you came for an overnight stay Lake Fork Ranch Resort is a nice place to camp. The high level of precipitation makes Posey Lake a pretty wet place; May is the month that gets the most                  rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Ocean Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Little Slough is a stream you can take a look at while here. This lake is so wonderful.
