For the period of the summer here at Port Arthur Reservoir, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Port Arthur Reservoir plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Babe       Zaharias Memorial Golf Course, and camping at Sea Rim State Park is always a splendid experience. If you need a place to stay Port Arthur/Nederland Area is a good choice, and a perfect place to camp here at Port Arthur Reservoir is Lazy L Campgrounds. Good hiking is available along the Tyrell Park Trail, and Cajun Cottages Bed & Breakfast is a brilliant place to get some rest. Port Arthur Reservoir beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise.                  Don't leave Port Arthur Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Sea Rim State Park Trail.
