Near Poole Lake you discover nice locations like Bear Hollow, and why not a little side journey to Indian Branch. Go for a hike on the Lady Bird Johnson Park Trail, and Catering of Central Texas is a wonderful place to get some rest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. If you came to camp Kerr Villa RV and Mobile Home is a magnificent place to do that. Lakes? Sure, Tierra Linda Lower       Reservoir is close at hand. Through the summertime, highs regularly are in the 90's at Poole Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Poole Lake. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Kerrville Municipal Golf Course, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Guadalupe River. Poole Lake Dam is a pretty location                  in the vicinity of Poole Lake; you'll most likely meet some folks from Kerrville here. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Poole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buckhorn Lake Resort is a good place for that, and dry warm beds await you at Inn of the Hills Resort and Conference Center. This lake is so wonderful.
