The high level of precipitation makes Poco Lake a rather wet place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Canton is a good site to spend a night or two. All through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 90's at Poco Lake. When the       night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. Throughout the wintertime highs are generally in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Poco Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice location to get some rest; Poco Club Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
