Throughout the months of summer at Pierce Pond temperatures are usually in the 90's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows at Pierce Pond during the wintertime generally fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Pierce Pond called the Sister Grove       Park Trail. Rowlett Creek is a good whitewater spot near Pierce Pond; Hidden Acres RV Park is a nice local campground. Pierce Pond Dam is lovely and it's next to Pierce Pond, and close by you locate the Trinity Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Mckinney Days Inn is a glorious choice, and going for a hike on the Wylie Community Park Trail is always a good adventure. Dry warm beds await you at                  Value Place McKinney, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Spring Creek River. If you get bored of Pierce Pond, you could also take a look at nearby Reservoir Number Eleven; Stiff Creek is near Pierce Pond and is always a joy to check out. You definitely should fancy Pierce Pond. Lewis Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; Pierce Pond is a great location to visit for more than one day, Lafon's RV Park is a great location to camp nearby.
