Don't leave Pierce Lake without first going for a hike along the Old Hancock Trail, and why not a little side tour to Carpers Creek. Pierce Lake is a good place of typical rain; May is when you get the most rain here while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Point Creek Haven is a splendid choice. There's so much to do here at Pierce Lake that       you need to camp here for a while, Resort RV Park At woodcreek is a magnificent place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Pierce Lake. There's always Pierce Dam to pop by near Pierce Lake, and float down the rapids of Little Blanco River in a kayak. While staying at Pierce Lake you could always look at Rough Hollow. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pierce Lake has to                  offer, you can camp at Sleepy Hollow RV Park. High temperatures at Pierce Lake through the warm months are in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Pierce Lake tend to be in the 30's. There's fine hiking along the Guadalupe Park Trail; get covered with water paddling on Blanco River.
