Mustang Creek flows through this area, and a perfect close by hotel is Comfort Suites Frisco. Lakes are fine; Moore Lake is a lake that's next to Pickens Lake, and       whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Furneaux Creek. Not far from Pickens Lake, you'll locate Carr Lake which is a scenic lake, and you can take a little spree to Pickens Dam if you're here at Pickens Lake. Pickens Lake is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Hall's RV Park is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Elm Fork Greenbelt Trail.
