Why not camp at Thousand Trails LP while you're here at Phillips North Lake, and you don’t have to go far from Phillips North Lake to make out the water at Phillips North Lake Dam. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Phillips North Lake called the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Trail, and camping is available at Hidden Cove Park. Going for a hike on the                  Elm Fork Nature Preserve Trail is always a wonderful adventure; Tribute Golf Club is a nice golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, White Rock Creek offers some splendid whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Plano/The Colony is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Phillips North Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Phillips North Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
