Not far from Phillips Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Phillips Lake Dam. A lot of rainfall falls at Phillips Lake; the month with most       of the rain is May, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Yeah, come here to Phillips Lake for a great time. A magnificent close by hotel is Super 8 Kountze Big Thicket Natl Pres Area, and great hiking is available along the Big Thicket - Sundew Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
