Very tremendous water scenery is available at Phillips Lake Dam in close proximity to Phillips Lake, and a splendid location to camp here at Phillips Lake is Triple Creek Recreational Vehicle. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Dogwood Hills Country Club not far from Phillips Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Dogwood Trail. Phillips Lake is a relatively wet place commonly       with a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is August. Reid Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a tremendous close by hotel is Super 8 Motel Kountze. A lake close by is Spurlock Branch Reservoir, and the Big Thicket - Sundew Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. All through the days of summer at Phillips Lake temperatures are mostly in the 90's. When the night sets in                  temperatures drop down into the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Phillips Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading.
