Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. There's so much to do here at Pelaez Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sabinal Canyon Campland is a tremendous spot for that, also Pelaez Lake Dam is worth checking out while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Foster Hollow, and Pelaez Lake is tremendous enough to spend more       than a day at, Lost Maples Shp is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Pelaez Lake is a spot with many visitors from Uvalde. If the weather is great here at Pelaez Lake, you can go for a hike along the Garner State Park Trail, and Pelaez Lake is a magnificent lake close by. It's a wonderful idea to stop by Evans Creek, it's in the vicinity of Pelaez Lake, and a pretty lake like Post Oak Waterhole is a splendid place to visit. Going for                  a hike along the Lost Maples State Natural Area Trails will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and there are some great whitewater spots on Sabinal. High temperatures at Pelaez Lake throughout the warm months are in the 90's; the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Pelaez Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Pelaez Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; during the month of October you get the most rain around here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
