     If you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Jacksonville is a tremendous choice, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Neches Bluff Trail. High temperatures at Pearman Lake through the months of summer are in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Pearman Lake. Lakes? Sure, Pearman Lake is in the vicinity;  
   a quick tour to San Pedro Creek is positively a pleasant idea.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Pearman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Springs Campground is a great place for that, and going for a hike along the Old Tram Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. You clearly ought to like Pearman Lake. There are other sites here than Pearman Lake, for example Chain of Lakes, and hiking along
 
               the Mission Tejas State Park Trail is splendid fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pearman Lake a wet location; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is August.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Pearman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Neches Bluff Campground; you'll meet a lot of folks from Jacksonville here.

Just hiked the 20 mile trail north to south yesterday. Nice terrain, but the trail is in horrible shape. It looks like there has been no maintenence this year. In some parts, brush covering the trail was higher than my head....The Four C's is a beautiful trail, representative of the pinewoods area. Be familiar with landmarks as they can be very tricky....
