This is a nice area for people who like lakes. Sand Lake is a lake in close proximity. Palmer Lake regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp       here at Palmer Lake is Big Creek RV Park, and don't miss out on a perfect swamp; Coon Slough is right here at Palmer Lake. Camping at Chain-o-lakes Resort is always a great experience, and going for a hike along the Mercy Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Any time is a pleasant time at Palmer Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Lakes are pleasant; Sand Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Palmer Lake, and if                  the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Double Lake Trail. For the period of the long summer days at Palmer Lake highs are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's.
