Baffle Point is reasonably in the neighborhood of Oyster Lake; if you've had enough of Oyster Lake, Horseshoe Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites On The Beach, and you're most likely addicted       to lakes, Beacon Bayou is one of those close by. If the weather is nice here at Oyster Lake, you can go for a hike along the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Houston-Baytown-Sugar Land here. If you came for an overnight stay Gulfview Trailer Park is a good location to camp; beaches are delightful and Bolivar Beach is no exception. All through the summertime highs here at Oyster Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down                  it drops down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Oyster Lake temperatures sink to the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. Oyster Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; March is the month with the least moisture. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Oyster Lake has it all.
