After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Ennis is a fine place to spend a night or two, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Waxahachie Trail. Camping at Oak Cove Marina and Campground is always a pleasant experience, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Waxahachie Creek - South Prong. Old City Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Knollridge       Mobile Home Park is a brilliant local campground, and why not take a look at Old City Lake Dam while you're here. Summertime highs at Old City Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Old City Lake tend to be in the 30's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Old City                  Lake has to offer.
