Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Trinity River - West Fork, and Cold Springs is always fun to check out. Just can't get enough of Nutt Lake. Through the warmest time of the year at Nutt Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 20's       for Nutt Lake. People from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington love to come to Nutt Lake. Lakes? Sure, Elliot Lake is in close proximity. Nutt Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and there's some flowing water close by, Clear Fork Trinity River is a stream you can go to while here. Nutt Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There                  are perfect sites to explore along the Crosstimbers Trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sycamore Creek Golf Course.
