There's so much to do here at Novice City Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Mesquite Trailer Park is a wonderful spot for that. From a precipitation point of view Novice City Lake is a relatively common spot; the month with most of the rain is September; the driest month is January. After a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn and Suites Abilene is a wonderful       place to spend a night or two; do have a look at Daniels Lake, it's a beautiful lake. During the warm days of summer at Novice City Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Novice City Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
