At Northwest Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while March is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Sal del Ray is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Northwest Reservoir; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Edinburg/McAllen/South       is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. For the period of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 90's at Northwest Reservoir. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 60's while Northwest Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 40's. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Hargill Reservoir is a lake around here, and Super 8 Edinburg/McAllen/Central                  is a magnificent place to get some rest. People from McAllen-Edinburg-Pharr love to come to Northwest Reservoir, and Northwest Reservoir is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Sandpipers Nudist Resort is a brilliant place to camp nearby.
