Northgate Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. High temperatures at Northgate Reservoir through the summer months are in the 90's with night lows in the 70's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Northgate Reservoir. The scenery at Belton Dam near Northgate Reservoir is lovely; on a good day you can take a hike along the Miller Springs Nature Center Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Leon Valley Golf Course

Hood for sure. Near Northgate Reservoir you hit upon the Dana Peak Park Trail which is a great hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited.
There is a perfect hiking trail in the vicinity of Northgate Reservoir
called the Chalk Ridge Falls Park Trail, and after a long day outdoors River Forest Inn Belton is a great site to spend a night or two. The annual rain here at Northgate Reservoir is about average; during the month of May you get
the most rain around here; the driest month is January. While staying at Northgate Reservoir you could always discover Coxs Hollow, and camping at Northgate Reservoir is nice fun, Belton Koa Kampground is a nice local campground.
