Moonshine Creek Lake Number 2 is in the neighborhood, and if you came to camp Lake Athens Marina and RV Park is a brilliant spot to do that. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. An interesting thing to stop by close to North Nichols Lake is North Nichols Lake Dam. For the period of the months of summer at North Nichols Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and during the       night it cools down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for North Nichols Lake tend to be in the 30's.
