This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Bentsen - Rio Grande Valley State Park Trail is always a glorious adventure, and if you need a location to stay La Copa Alamo is a wonderful choice. Through the long summer days, highs typically are in the 90's at North Lake.       Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at North Lake are in the 40's. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alamo Paradise Acres is a glorious place for that. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; North Lake has it all. East Lake is a nice lake in the neighborhood of North Lake, and a golf course                  nearby is Tierra Del Sol Golf Club. If you're popping by North Lake from McAllen-Edinburg-Pharr, you won't be the only one, and you can stay the night at Alamo Rose Mobile Home and RV Park. The Santa Ana National Wildlife Refuge Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of North Lake; a lovely lake like West Lake is a great site to pop by.
