This lake is so wonderful. Ramada - Giddings is a magnificent spot to get some rest; getting to Bull Creek from Nixon Lake is trouble-free. Through the warm months at Nixon Lake temperatures are regularly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. Highs all through the winter are       generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Nixon Lake are in the 30's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Somerville Trailway, and Round Top RV Park is a magnificent local campground. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Nixon Lake is unbeatable! During your trip to Nixon Lake you'll meet some folks from Brenham for sure, and Lake Somerville-Nails is a magnificent campground nearby. The annual precipitation here at Nixon Lake is                  about average; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. White Bluffs is an interesting thing to catch a sight of while you're here at Nixon Lake. Here at Nixon Lake you can see Homeymeyer Mountain, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Zuehlke Lake.
