Best Western Mathis Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Side Inn And Suites. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Old Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and New Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mathis Motor Inn and RV Park is a nice local campground. Summer at New Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and through the       night it cools down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with temperatures at New Lake dipping down into the 40's during winter nights. New Lake Dam is beautiful and it's close to New Lake; if you came to camp Lake Corpus Christi State Park is a great spot to do that.
