This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. New City Lake Dam is a location that is close to New City Lake. Lakes are fine; Old City Lake is a lake that's near New City Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at MT Pleasant Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at       Super 8 Mt. Pleasant TX. Not far from New City Lake, you'll locate John W May Lake which is a charming lake, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MOUNT PLEASANT is a great place to get some rest. The high level of rain makes New City Lake a quite wet place; the month with most of the rain is May; August is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Camp Langston, and you're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Mount Pleasant here.                  Throughout the summertime months highs here at New City Lake get into the 90's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
