After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Baytown is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Ijams Lake is nearby.       This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Bays Inn & Suites is a glorious choice; Negrohead Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Casa Rv Park is a great local campground. Negrohead Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is March. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Negrohead Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's.                  All through the winter this place gets highs in the 60's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Negrohead Lake fall into the 40's. Not far from Negrohead Lake you stumble on Ash Point, and close by you hit upon the Armand Bayou Nature Center Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Negrohead Lake is near Ijams Gully which is definitely worth visiting, and enjoy a round of golf at Evergreen Point Golf Course. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Negrohead Lake.
