N M Jackson Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Texas Log Cabin and RV Park is a delightful local campground; Quality Inn & Suites is a great spot to get some rest. There's so much to       do here at N M Jackson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Flame Mobile Home and RV Park is a pleasant spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn On The Hill. N M Jackson Dam is worth a visit since you're here; hiking along the Purtis Creek State Park Trail is glorious fun. The wonderful folks of Athens like to hang out nearby, and do have a look at Dillard Lake, it's a beautiful lake. During the days of summer at N M Jackson                  Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 70's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for N M Jackson Lake.
