Lakes are magnificent; Lake Lyndon B Johnson is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Mustang Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Mustang Lake, you'll stumble on Meadowlakes Number 2 Lake which is a delightful lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Camp Creek Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Mustang Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 90's, and the nighttime is a little       chillier of course, ordinarily in the 70's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Mustang Lake. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Mustang Lake; most of the rain falls throughout May, and January on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Kamper's Korner, and in close proximity to Mustang Lake you discover a golf course called Blue Lake Golf Club. A great close by hotel is                  Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott, and there's fine hiking along the Pedernales Falls State Park Equestrian Trails. Hampton Inn on the Lake is a fine place to get some rest, and Pedernales River is a good whitewater spot close by. Be careful coming to Mustang Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Camping at Riverview RV Park is always a good experience, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Pedernales River.
