The Camp Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pedernales River. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pedernales Falls State Park Equestrian Trails; Mustang Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Kamper's Korner is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Hiking       is a popular thing to do around Mustang Lake; Falls Trail is a perfect local trail, and if you need a spot to stay Quality Inn Marble Falls is a pleasant choice. Mustang Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; the driest of the months is January. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 90's at Mustang Lake with night lows in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Mustang Lake night low                  temperatures all through the winter are in the 30's.
