Murff Lake is not the only spot nearby, Ubanoski Lake is a nearby lake, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Executive Inn & Suites is a good choice. Pine Creek is a charming stream that is worth stopping at, and going for a hike along the Stubblefield Lake Trail will let you absorb       the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Home On The Range RV Park if you're here at Murff Lake, and hiking along the Red Loop I is great fun. Murff Lake gets a typical amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Murff Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's, and the night is fairly colder of course, regularly in the 70's. Daytime                  highs during the wintertime are in the 60's with temperatures at Murff Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
