Why not stop by Duke Lake Dam since you're here, and if you need a place to stay Lake Livingston Inn is a tremendous choice. Ace Emanuel Branch is a good spot to stop at; do take a hike on the Big Thicket - Beaver Slide Trail. Munson Lake usually gets lots of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is August. Escapees Rv Club is a good campground nearby, and       Duke Lake is a brilliant lake nearby. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Munson Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Munson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Williams Spring is always fun to check out, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Livingston. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things near                  Munson Lake. A beautiful lake like George Taylor Lake next to Munson Lake is a perfect place to have a look at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Big Thicket - Big Sandy Trail.
