Mountain Creek Lake is a good site of typical rainfall; most of the rain falls during May, and January is the month with the least moisture.       Spring Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Mountain Creek Dam is a beautiful site near Mountain Creek Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Johnson Creek.
