Some of the water close by flows, like Pecan Creek, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Echo Canyon Trail. At Llano Park Dam in close proximity to Moss Lake 2 there are some out of the ordinary things to see,       and Moss Lake 2 is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Llano River Golf and RV Resort is a magnificent local campground. The warmest time of the year at Moss Lake 2 comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and the night is a little colder of course, commonly in the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while Moss Lake 2 overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's.
