Moores Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Moores Lake is a good location of common rain; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Mc Elroy Mobile Home Park is a nice campground nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Moores Lake; Sister Grove Park Trail is a brilliant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. | | more than one day, Collin Park RV Resort and Marina is a glorious place to camp nearby, and an attention-grabbing thing to stop at in the neighborhood of Moores Lake is Boyd Lake Dam.

Lake tend to be in the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rockwall, Texas, and glorious hiking is available along the Wylie Community Park Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do
near Moores Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rowlett Creek, and not far from Moores Lake you'll come across Caruth Lake which is a pretty lake.
This lake is so wonderful. At Moores
Lake you always meet someone from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington. There's whitewater on Duck Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there are other places here than Moores Lake, for example Lavon Lake. Don't leave Moores Lake
without first going for a hike along the Trinity Trail, and if you need a location to stay Rockwall is a good choice.
