There's so much to do here at Moore Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Cove Park is a tremendous spot for that, and glide down the rapids of Furneaux Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Moore Lake is not far at all from Sherman-Denison. An average amount of rainfall falls at Moore Lake; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January.
